Most people don’t go for electric vehicle because these ho-hum mobiles are slow and devoid of excitement. They would rather buy a Lamborghini, if they had the money to splurge. Well! Here goes another excuse, struck by lightning. The Tesla Roadster goes from 0 to 95 kph in 3.9 seconds. Not as fast as the Lamborghini Reventon, which does it in 3.4 seconds. But the Tesla does it without burning any oil. This electric car will also take you about 390 km on a full battery. Perhaps the only flip side is that it takes 3.5 hours to recharge. It costs about $110,000, and if you are bringing it to India, there will be the usual customs duty to be paid. At this price, and with its performance, the Roadster can easily compete with most other high-performance cars in the market. Watch this company. It is already taking bookings for its Model S, a sedan priced at a mere $50,000.
