Running on an Intel Core M, Core i5 processor, the Asus Zenbook is the nearest to a MacBook Air you can buy with Windows 10 pre-loaded and a quad high definition display. The laptop also features a USB 2.0 Port and two USB 3.0 ports to keep you connected. Microphone and headphone jacks allow you to plug in your favourite headphones, and its six cell, 56 Watts per hour lithium polymer battery holds the promise of a backup time of upto ten hours.
Asus has over the past few years managed to put out some amazing designs, and the Zenbook UX305LA is not short of it. But it doesn’t just stop at great looks. Asus has also managed to score excellently when it comes to the performance of the new laptop.
With the various ports and jacks mentioned above, as also a Micro- HDMI port, and an SDXC card reader, the Asus Zenbook comes with various expansion options, unlike most of the slim laptops available in the market today.
The machine also features a high definition webcam for video calls, and its chiclet-style keyboard is a pleasure to use.
Asus has loaded this machine with its own splendid technology that allows for more accurate colours to be presented on the screen, whether that’s in a picture you’re editing or a movie you’re watching, resulting in lifelike colour reproduction. Asus has also put in its IceCool technology that ensures that the heat build up on the palm rest is low, keeping it in the temperature range of 28-35≤ , ensuring your body feels cooler when your hands are on the palm rest, something we have not seen in any other Windows laptop.
With a rich set of features, a top speed processor, solid state storage, a great display and a battery that manages to run a full day at 10 odd hours, the Zenbook UX305 is an attractive laptop that will appeal to both the professional and on-the-go user, and we are happy to see a machine that and runs Windows 10 efficiently while it looks and feels as good as the MacBook Air.
