German carmaker Porsche has come out with the highest of high-end kitchens. Aimed at men, they have the look, feel and gizmos of something from a Bond film.
German carmaker Porsche has put rubber to a slightly different tarmac, but with the brand’s USP of machismo intact. It’s come out with the highest of high-end kitchens. Aimed at men, they have the look, feel and gizmos of something from a Bond film. The prices start from Rs 1 crore. Designed by Porsche and launched by German kitchen brand Poggenpohl, the Porsche Design Kitchen P’7340 consists of functional LED lights, touch-enabled induction stoves and built-in appliances such as a plug-and-play LCD TV and a sound system, as well as a coffeemaker. But why is it only for men? “Well, men connect with such things,” quips George Chacko of Poggenpohl. The set is a piece to die for, and would remind you of titles of Bond films like Tomorrow Never Dies or You Only Live Twice.
