If you were to get married and you were granted a wish to choose any destination for your wedding, what would your choice be and why?

I’d choose Seychelles or Greece, as destination weddings are enjoyable and an intimate experience for all involved. You’ve won beauty pageants.

If you were made to judge the best wedding event decor, what would the top 5 points on your scorelist be?

A stylish vintage wedding theme would be really interesting with some pastel shades. But most importantly it should reflect the personalities of the two people in love and the culture of the two families coming together.

My top 5 points will definitely include:
1. Best execution 2. Perfect blend of shades 3. Interesting theme
4. Fresh flowers 5. Exotic cuisines

What’s your favourite form of wedding dress?

The lehenga is definitely my favourite.

If you had a choice of three styles of jewellery to pick from to go with your coveted wedding dress, what would these be?

Any three jewellery brands that you believe have a portfolio that matches your taste? I believe in going simple yet chic. That’s my style. Diamonds and precious stones top my list but something that’s not too heavy. Three brands that match my style are: 1) Swarsoki 2) TBZ 3) Tanishq.

Indian weddings are about several functions, the wedding being only one. If you were to pick an ensemble for each event, what would it be?

For the Sangeet: crop-top choli, flared palazzo and a long jacket with detailed work and embellishments on it, kundan jwellery and jutis along with it.

For the Wedding: lehenga with heavy work, comfortable heels. For the Reception: a deep blue gown with diamond earrings and silver heels. Minimalistic make up.

How would you like your groom turned out for the wedding?

Very Indian on the outside, but my-kind-of crazy on the inside.

The wedding rings. What would be your dream ring and what would you have your beau wear?

Platinum rings with his and my names engraved on them.

The bride & groom are more often than not on a social compulsions imposed diet during the pre-and-post events. What would you like to definitely have on the menu on the special day?

It’s the most important day of their lives, the menu should be exotic.

If you were to decide the menu for a wedding, what cuisine would you opt for and what must have items would be on that list?

Indian fusion, lots of tasty desserts and a chocolate fountain for sure.

The grand exit post-wedding, what’s your dream take on that?

Any car with an open roof and minimalistic decorations.

Honeymoon destinations?

Bora Bora, The northern lights (Northern Norway), Venice and Miami.

Speaking of weddings and dreams, tell us whether you’ve bagged your dream role in a movie yet and what you’ve got lined up?

The films I have done have challenged me as an actor. Xpose demanded me to be a mainstream Bollywood heroine and my upcoming film Sweetie Desai weds NRI challenged me to a real performance from the heart. I don’t have a particular dream role but I want to be a very versatile actor and be able to portray different characters convincingly.
