LG G Flex 2

With its bright curved display and striking red colour, the G Flex 2 stands out from every other cellphone in the market. Running on a Snapdragon 810 Octacore processor with 2 Gigabytes of RAM, this smartphone is super fast.

Like LG’s original G-Flex phone, the Flex 2 has a curved 5.5-inch display, and this time round it’s been upgraded to full high-definitio with 400 pixels per inch, assuring you a screen that is even sharper than that of the fabled iPhone.

Like all new generation LG phones, there is no power button or volume rockers on the side of the handset; all these have been moved to the back panel, which makes it easy to operate while you are on a call. While using the phone as a music-playing device, this may not exactly be the best position, though.

On the front of the phone is a 2 MP camera with motion control that lets you take great selfies. The phone’s accelerometer turns the front camera off and puts it into view mode when you bring the camera down, and switches it back to the usual camera mode when raised—very handy for selfie-stick users.

The phone’s rear camera is of 13 MP with a true tone dual flash and laser tracking—a technology that enhances focusing speed and is great for low-light photography.

The LG G-Flex 2 also uses a brand new surface finish that is highly resistant to fingerprint markings. It is also engineered to recover from surface scratches in less than 10 seconds and this self-healing property is a life saver if you carry your keys and your phone in the same pocket.

The G-Flex 2 also has an infra-red transmitter, which allows you to use your phone as an all-in-one remote control for your TV, air-conditioner or your home theatre system. At the bottom is a 3.5 mm audio jack next to a micro USB charging jack.

The LG G-Flex2 runs on Android Lolipop and performs brilliantly. It is available in platinium silver and flamenco red.
