NaMo Power’ pepper spray was officially launched on 16 December 2013 by Modi Flying India, a group that supports BJP prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi, in honour of the 16 December gang-rape victim. It is priced at Rs 195 for a 35-gm can. The spray contains natural chilli concentrate, which is 20 times stronger than the chilli usually used in the kitchen. The range of the spray is 5-7 feet. It is meant to instantly disable the attacker by causing severe eye irritation. The effect is expected to last 30-45 minutes. The spray can be bought at all Delhi Metro stations
