Britain’s public health minister, Anne Milton, has a new prescription to cure obesity.
Fat, a stigmatising word, faded out of the spoken world when political correctness dawned. Fat people were called large size or termed clinically as obese. Britain’s public health minister, Anne Milton, now wants a label-swap to motivate thinning. She believes calling people fat, rather than obese, will push them to lose weight. UK is home to the largest number of obese citizens in Europe. Milton says people perceive obesity as a health issue. Being fat is “a worrisome personal issue”, where people will take personal responsibility.
