Post the Corona virus outbreak, people have been inexorably moving towards a greener and cleaner system of healthcare that focusses on core immunity and strength of the body.
HempCann Solutions, through its wellness brand Vedi, has seen a significant rise in people looking for medicines and supplements that can be a part of one’s daily health regimen, without the side-effects of pharma drugs. For instance, the demand for Ayurvedic products have grown from an annual 15-20% to an appreciable 50% in general. Some of Vedi’s highest selling natural medicines have been its immunity package and its vitality medicines, like Ashwagandha.
This upbeat curve has made HempCann confident enough to establish two more Vedi Wellness Centres in Mumbai and Delhi. According to Agarwal, the Bengaluru Wellness Centre, the first, was evidence of the fact that many people were looking to turn to holistic healing. We now believe that cannabis medicines soon will become a part of the collective consciousness. “You can’t keep such a versatile medicine down, and we intend to make it even more accessible in the coming year,” he added.

Cannabis medicines have seen a worldwide surge for a few years now. Various business analysts have made more than healthy projections. For instance, the US cannabis market is slated to see $30 billion sales in 2022. This upbeat movement will most likely reflect in the Indian market as well, with Europe well on its way towards total cannabis legalisation.
“If the sales of our cannabis leaves extract medicines like Cannapain and Cannaflam are anything to go by, we expect a far better 2022, despite it not being considered a mainstream medicine. The reason being the efficacy of the products and improved awareness among people.”
