The Oxford Educational Institutions made a humble beginning way under the aegis of Children’s Education Society® in the year 1974, by Vidyashri. Sri S. Narasa Raju, the Founder Chairman, philanthropist and educationist with only 2 teachers and 24 students at J.P. Nagar, Bengaluru.Growth of the Institutions: Offering value based Education from Kindergarten to doctoral programs to more than 25000 students with 2500 teaching faculty. The Oxford Group operates 5 spacious campuses in Bengaluru located at J.P. Nagar, HSR Layout, Bommanahalli, Hongasandra & Attibele offering programs in about 85 disciplines and streams.
The Oxford Medical College, Hospital & Research Centre came up in sprawling 30 Acre of land at Attibele offering medical education in MBBS, 21 MD/MS courses, 8 BSc & 2 Diploma in allied health sciences.
Recognition has been granted by Government of India to The Oxford Medical College Hospital & Research Centre, Bengaluru u/s 11(2) of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 with 150 seats in MBBS Course. This is the net result of the relentless and dedicated service and endeavour of the Chairman, Director, Principal, Medical Superintendent, Heads of Departments, Faculty Members, Para Medical/Allied Health Staff, Management, Administrative & Supporting Staff in the College, in the teaching and tertiary Hospital.
