Nitte Meenakshi Institute of Technology has been ranked 183 amongst all the Engineering Institutes in the Country including IITs and NITs in the National Ranking list of 2022, released by National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF), Government of India.

NMIT has also achieved the National Status within the short period of two decades, by securing 5th rank in 2021 in the entire Nation by Atal Ranking of Institutions on Innovation Achievements (ARIIA), Government of India.

NMIT is the youngest Institution in the country to receive ‘Autonomous’ status in the year 2007 and is also accredited with NBA (Tier-1) and NAAC ‘A+’ Grade.

NMIT has also been recognised for Industry Academia connect by AICTE and CII along with the Platinum Grade.

Emphasizing strong focus on research, leading to benefits for the common man and society at large, so as to improve the living standards, NMIT has set-up 10 ‘Centers of Excellence’ in the various fields of technology, attracting young research talents from all over the country and abroad.

The Training and Placement Cell in the institute acts as a liaison between industry and institute. The highlight of NMIT is the excellent internship support provided by the reputed industries on regular basis. Most of them have established modern laboratories inside the campus to up-skill the young minds which would help them in their project works and better placements.
