Cooking in a typical Indian household is more about sizzling and simmering than baking and grillings. Naturally, oil, ghee and smoke combine in the kitchen to form a rather stubborn layer of grime. The fact could not be denied that the kitchen is a palace itself and is to be created fond memories and delicious food. The reason Indian food tastes good is because of the amount of work that goes into making it. But ask anyone who has ever cooked Indian curries and they will tell you all about the aftermath of cleaning the kitchen post a heavy meal. Here comes the name of Kutchina Home Makers Pvt Ltd designed for your convenience.
Established in 2003 by Namit Bajoria, Kutchina has made its name in the industry right from auto-clean chimneys to peninsula shape kitchens.
Namit had witnessed his mother toiling in the kitchen and bearing discomfort. Post that, cleaning things was an ordeal. It was then that it dawned to him that he should render kitchen solutions services to address the issues of the Indian homemakers. The luminary in 1996 began his career and saw doing the sale of office automation service products by himself. The ambitious was not satisfied because he believed in having his brand. Finally, he came up with his brand in 2003 with chimney.
“Currently, the primary focus is reaching the customers in other metros. Having an applauding able presence in the East, the aim is to be dominant players in the other markets. Also, the brand like Kutchina provides Kitchen solutions and would like to further consolidate in that area”.
Namit states, “In 2003, when we launched our chimney, the market was filled with brands offering similar services as western countries. What I thought was if they fulfill the Indian requirements? Our kitchens are considered a ‘holocaust’ , full of dirt and grease. We created our product based on the need to address our kitchen needs. Also, we saw our homemakers spending fifty per cent of their daily time cleaning and washing. To see to this, we brought a technique so that the chimney gets cleaned automatically. Our needs are evolving and if our products do not progress and meet the customers’ requirements, we will become antique.
Technology and research are the biggest drivers in our industry. We have made progress every day and ringed in innovation in our products to meet the requirements of our customers. We began with auto-clean chimneys which necessitated that soapy water needed to be added to the system. With the pressing of a button, the cleaning process started, but now it happens by itself and this is possible with our i-clean technology.” Namit asserts that they bank on two things- First, good feedback from the existing clients and then, the strong R&D team. Gradually, the product line has been increased, and now, complete kitchen solutions are being offered. As per Kutchina, “Currently, the primary focus is reaching the customers in other metros. Having an applauding able presence in the East, the aim is to be dominant players in the other markets. Also, the brand like Kutchina provides Kitchen solutions and would like to further consolidate in that area.
Namit confidently talks about R&D as their backbone for them to stay relevant in business. He says they have a strong team always monitoring demands and customizing products with the need of the hour. Namit wishes to see Kutchina across all households in India.
