Swami Keshvanand Institute of Technology, Management & Gramothan (SKIT) inspired from the learnings of Swami Keshvanand, was established in the year 2000 by Technocrats and Managers Society for Advanced Learning, in the Pink City Jaipur, Rajasthan. Today the institute is recognized as one of the centers of academic excellence in Northern India. The Institute is approved by AICTE, New Delhi and affiliated to Rajasthan Technical University (RTU), Kota for offering Postgraduate and Graduate Courses in Engineering and Management.

SKIT is the only affiliated technical institute in Rajasthan accredited with grade A++ by NAAC.

SKIT also bagged the first rank among all the RTU affiliated institutes. The rank announced by RTU, Kota has been bestowed to SKIT for maintaining excellent quality framework. Recently, SKIT bagged AAA+ rating by Careers360 Survey (2023), Outstanding Engineering College of Excellence award by Competition Success Review (2023), position among top 100 Pvt. Engineering Institutions of India by Outlook Survey (2023), ‘Excellence in Education’ award by First India News (2023), and many more.

A good number of multinational and national companies visit SKIT every year. More than 850 students of 2023 batch have been placed. The highest package offered for 2023 batch is 47 LPA. Excellent placements at SKIT are only an endorsement of the hard work and efforts the institute puts in, in shaping and honing skills of students. Due to continuous efforts, the top notch industries have given the special status to SKIT.

SKIT is one of the few prestigious institutes of the country which have been chosen by MoE, Govt. of India for hosting Smart India Hackathon (SIH) 2023. A strong academic program is driven by a dedicated, well trained faculty and augmented by academic tie-ups with institutions such as ASME, OSA, ISTE, AIMA, etc. Developing employability skills is a part of structured training activities on campus. These focus on imparting life skills and corporate mannerism. The institute has strong tie-ups to implement these programs. Besides academics and training, SKIT lays emphasis on building strong cultural acumen and sportsmanship through numerous activities on and off campus.

Jaipal Meel, Director, SKIT is a man of few words but believes in great actions that lead to substantial and concrete results. An epitome of simple living and high thinking, he firmly believes in giving a perceptible shape to the infant ideas of students who aspire to achieve a strong hold over their life and career. Jaipal Meel has created umpteen opportunities for the students and faculty members.
