Noida Institute of Engineering & Technology (NIET), the first private institute in Uttar Pradesh to get Autonomous status by UGC has signed Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with CGC, Aarhus University, Herning, Denmark, in the presence of HIS EXCELLENCY Mr. H.E. Freddy Svane, Ambassador at the Royal Danish Embassy in New Delhi, Prof. Ramjee Prasad, President, CGC Aarhus University, Herning, Denmark and Mr. Raman Batra, Executive Vice President, Noida Institute of Engineering and Technology.
NIET and CGC Aarhus University discussed and signed mutual goals regarding academic opportunities for students and faculty and collaborate through academic programs in research and faculty development of both institutions and contribute further to the regional understanding between both countries through mutual cooperation programs.
HIS EXCELLENCY Mr. H.E. Freddy Svane, Ambassador at the Royal Danish Embassy expressed his happiness and highlighted the importance of Indo-Danish cooperation in transforming the education sector in both the countries. Both the countries shall add skills and scope to shape a better future for the young generation.Prof. Ramjee Prasad, President, CGC Aarhus University, said that the partnership will go a long way in establishing programs mutually for the benefit of students of their respective educational institutions. He assured that we shall continue to work further in different fields that will be mutually agree upon including start-ups and its commercialization.
Mr. Raman Batra, Executive Vice President of NIET, Greater Noida was pleased to announce that the agreement signed between the two institutes will provide opportunity to avail academic benefits and Collegesencouraging interaction for students and faculty members from all disciplines He also added that NIET has already signed an agreement earlier this year with Ajman University, Dubai for student, faculty exchange program and organize joint programs as mutually agreed upon. Mr. Batra assured that this was just the beginning and the Indo-Danish cooperation will go a long way in making our association deeper and stronger.
