Today’s multinational world expects a strong emphasis on soft skills. NDIM students are provided with more than 400 hours of soft skills training. This is what makes the placement record of NDIM exceptional. Good packages have been offered to the top students, 90% of whom get placed by the end of the third semester.
Every year, NDIM participates in education summits and exhibitions fostering collaborations and MOUs, offering global opportunities to students. Learning at NDIM is strongly supported by international faculty from the USA, Germany, and other countries taking full courses and modules. More than 35 CEOs and functional heads of US-based MNCs recently flew to NDIM alongwith the deans and academic heads of Pepperdine University of USA for joint programs and research, adding new vistas to MBA education at NDIM.
In 2018, NDIM decided to groom its students for the job markets of East Asian countries and established Japan Centre of Excellence. This Centre has caught the attention of Japanese recruiters in a big way and more than 60 renowned Japanese organizations are now regular visitors to the campus. Similar opportunities are now on way with the multiplication of Korean companies in India, for which Korean Centre of Excellence has been set up at NDIM with the support of Korean MNCs and the Embassy. NDIM is also encashing the growing number of jobs in the Risk Management profiles world-over for which it has collaborated with Australian Risk Policy Institute (APRI), 1st Asian Centre for Global Risk Policy Network (“ACGRPN”), to deliver ARPI’s Strategic Risk Policy educational programs in the Indo-pacific as there is a huge demand for professionals with risk analysis & risk management skills
Highly eminent dignitaries have been regularly grooming NDIM students including former Prime Minister of India, Dr. Manmohan Singh, former President of India, Late Shri Pranab Mukherjee and Vice President of India, Shri Venkaiah Naidu who blessed NDIM students on various occasions at the campus. Top industrialists like Sunil Bharti Mittal, Ajay Piramal, Binny Bansal, Nirmal K Mindahave been coming for campus interactions. Chairman of New Education Policy Dr. K Kasturirangan consulted the NDIM board and mentioned NDIM along with IIM A in the new education policy. Chairman TATA Sons, Mr. Natarajan Chandrasekaran graced NDIM as the chief guest at its recent convocation. Cabinet minister of 10 union ministries Mr. Suresh Prabhu is on the NDIM board along with most distinguished academics and industrialists. This speaks volumes about NDIM’s credibility.
No other B-school of India has been declared best for Industry Linked MBA continuously for 3 years. This certification has been given by the AICTE & CII only to NDIM after nationwide surveys of all the B-Schools of India. ASSOCHAM & FICCI have also declared NDIM as best for “Excellence in Employability through Industry Engagement.”
