On the 24th February, 1975, the State Govt Corporation of Government of Maharashtra founded the Mahila Arthik Vikas Mahamandal (MAVIM) to mark International Women’s Year. It aims for increased participation of women in the development goals through Self Help Groups (SHGs) ensuring social, economic and political justice at the grassroots through Sustainable Development.
