This is the sort of stuff that PG Wodehouse, with his thing for aristocratic men quailing before imperial aunts, would love. Mike Tyson, we learn from Animal Planet, loves his pigeons.
This is the sort of stuff that PG Wodehouse, with his thing for aristocratic men quailing before imperial aunts, would love. Mike Tyson, we learn from Animal Planet, loves his pigeons. Indeed, the channel, which has commissioned a special series on this, says it all began with the pigeons. The former heavyweight champion, who grew up in Brooklyn, threw his first punch when a neighbourhood bully killed one of his pet pigeons. And through his outrageous boxing career, he raised pigeons on his rooftop. What we suggest is this: Watch YouTube videos of Tyson tearing out Evander Holyfield’s ear along with the series on him cooing to his pets (it airs 6-19 June). You might just get fodder for the next great absurd novel.
