How is Ravindra Jadeja dealing with his exile from IPL? Apparently, he has taken to listening bhajans.
Two years ago, Ravindra Jadeja was the blue-eyed boy of the Rajasthan Royals. His brisk batting and useful bowling helped the team win the inaugural IPL. Now, the 21-year-old from Saurashtra finds himself out of the very tournament that made him famous. He was banned for negotiating with the Mumbai Indians while still a Rajasthan player. Even the inquiry into the issue by Arun Jaitley did not make a difference. Jaitley upheld the ban.
How is Jadeja dealing with his exile? “We avoid discussing the IPL with him,” says his sister Naina. “Instead, we talk about childhood memories and listen to songs. Ravindra likes all types of music. He even listens to bhajans. They relax him.” Hopefully, they also teach him not to worship money.
