Director Aditya Dhar’s latest film ‘Dhurandhar: The Revenge' has been storming the box office since its release on March 19, emerging as one of the most talked-about films while drawing positive reactions from audiences.

Headlined by Ranveer Singh, the film has also garnered praise from several prominent actors including Mahesh Babu, Ram Charan, Allu Arjun, Rajkummar Rao and Ayushmann Khurrana.

Adding to the chorus of appreciation, Telugu superstar Nagarjuna Akkineni shared his reaction after watching the film. Taking to X, the actor said the film "blew" his mind and left a lasting impression on him.

Sharing his experience after watching the film, Nagarjuna wrote, "Saw this incredible film called #DhurandharTheRevenge !!! What a ride ! It just blew my mind and I can't stop thinking about it. This is one of those films that inspires and changes filmmaking!!"

He also praised Dhar and the entire team, calling the filmmaker inspiring and appreciating the collective effort behind the project.

At the box office, ‘Dhurandhar: The Revenge' has delivered a phenomenal opening weekend performance both domestically and globally.

Riding on the Eid festivities, the film has neared the Rs 700 crore mark within just four days of release, including paid previews, and is expected to enter the Rs 1,000 crore club within its first week.

The film has already surpassed the worldwide gross of Gadar 2 at Rs 692.3 crore, Jailer at Rs 607.3 crore, and Salaar at Rs 614.6 crore, placing it among the biggest earners in Indian cinema.

While official figures are awaited, the film has closed its extended opening weekend at an estimated Rs 691.32 crore worldwide, including Rs 454.12 crore nett in India. The final tally is expected to comfortably cross Rs 700 crore globally.

How did Dhurandhar: The Revenge perform on Sunday to seal its opening weekend?

The spy thriller registered Rs 114.85 crore nett on Sunday alone, capping off a historic opening weekend.

With the Rs 700 crore milestone within reach, the film is now eyeing the next targets including PK, which earned Rs 750.3 crore worldwide, Stree 2, and Chhaava, which grossed Rs 788.6 crore globally.

The film is also witnessing a strong overseas run, particularly in North America, including the United States and Canada, where it has generated Rs 149.35 crore gross so far, with collections continuing to rise.

At its current pace, the film is expected to cross the Rs 1,000 crore mark by Wednesday or Thursday.

Following that, it is set to target its predecessor, Dhurandhar, which had concluded its global run at Rs 1307.35 crore.

The sequel is poised to surpass that figure and potentially enter the top five highest-grossing Indian films of all time.

The film has already become the biggest opener for both Ranveer Singh and Aditya Dhar.

Beyond its commercial performance, the film has sparked widespread discussion among audiences for its content, themes, performances, music and political undertones.

Alongside Ranveer Singh, the film features R. Madhavan, Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Rampal, Rakesh Bedi, Danish Pandor and Sara Arjun in key roles.

Directed by Aditya Dhar, Dhurandhar: The Revenge serves as a sequel to the 2025 film Dhurandhar and also stars Gaurav Gera and Manav Gohil as part of its ensemble cast.
