The weekly breakdown of Dhurandhar: The Revenge tells the story of a film that opened with seismic force.

Week one saw a staggering Rs 674.17 crore collected domestically. Week two witnessed an expected correction, bringing in Rs 263.65 crore, followed by Rs 110.60 crore in the third week.

On its fourth Tuesday, the film minted Rs 7.05 crore at the domestic box office, as per Sacnilk.

How did Dhurandhar: The Revenge create history at the box office?

Beyond becoming the biggest Hindi net grosser, it also became the first film ever to top Rs 1000 crore net in a single language at the Indian box office.

The journey to this historic milestone began with the first instalment, Dhurandhar, which released on December 5, 2025.

The business side of the industry had its doubts heading into the release, even though the film was carrying a decent buzz. Those doubts were put to rest almost immediately.

Audiences accepted the film with open arms, and with a never-ending debate around it, Dhurandhar became an unstoppable force at the global box office.

The spy action thriller went on to become the highest-grossing film at the Hindi box office with 840-plus crores net and over 1000 crore gross, after an extraordinary hold over weeks.

Worldwide, it finished its theatrical run with over 1300 crores, making it the fourth highest-grossing Indian film of all time, and the third biggest grosser without China.

Building on that momentum, Dhurandhar: The Revenge arrived just four months after its predecessor and took things to an entirely new level.

The Ranveer Singh-led action spectacle has turned into a box office juggernaut, amassing well over Rs 1700 crore globally and continuing its dream run in several territories.

The duology's exceptional performance in both domestic and international markets has been instrumental in pushing the franchise past the historic Rs 3000 crore milestone, cementing Dhurandhar's place as one of Indian cinema's biggest franchises.
