The Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) has launched the 57th phase of Operation True Promise 4, carrying out precision strikes against what it described as “occupied territories” and a major United States air installation in Qatar, according to Iranian state broadcaster Press TV.

In a statement from the Khatam al‑Anbiya Central Headquarters, the IRGC said the military action was dedicated to Mojtaba, a three‑day‑old infant killed earlier today.

The child reportedly died in his mother’s arms, alongside his family, during recent hostilities.

Iranian forces said they focused their operations in the occupied territories on neutralising command and control communication networks and missile defence arrays. These objectives were reportedly met using precision strikes, the state broadcaster said.

The assault involved a range of sophisticated weaponry including the Kheibar Shekan, Emad, and Qadr missile systems.

The IRGC said these units were deployed to disrupt the networks that facilitate military operations by the occupation regime in an effort to cripple its coordination capabilities.

Press TV reported that the IRGC launched a successful strike against the Al Udeid Air Base in Qatar.

The facility serves as a central hub for US Central Command operations and was targeted using explosive drones along with Zolfaghar and Qiam missiles, the Iranian report said.

In a separate engagement earlier on Monday, the IRGC Navy carried out a joint missile and drone attack on hangars housing American fighter aircraft.

High‑explosive cruise missiles were used to target installations at Sheikh Isa Air Base in Bahrain and Al Dhafra Air Base in the United Arab Emirates.

Iranian officials highlighted that Al Dhafra Air Base was specifically targeted because it was the launch point for recent strikes against Iranian islands.

The IRGC asserted that the operational capacity of the base has been “severely reduced” following the bombardment.

The IRGC Navy has vowed to maintain this military pressure stating, "These strikes will continue until the complete evacuation and destruction of American terrorist bases."

It further issued a warning saying, "We call on the Muslim people of the region to stay away from these bases."

Iranian attacks have also struck diplomatic missions, hotels and airports and damaged energy infrastructure in Arab Gulf states.

The number of US troops wounded in the war against Iran has risen to about 200 the US military said on Monday as the conflict entered its third week.

The United States Central Command said the vast majority of those wounded had suffered minor injuries and 180 troops had already returned to duty. Ten of the injuries are serious, it said.

Troops had been injured in Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Jordan, Bahrain, Iraq and Israel, the US Central Command added.

Thirteen US troops have been killed since Iran launched strikes against US military bases following the start of the conflict on February 28.

The United States meanwhile has carried out strikes against more than 7 000 targets in Iran.
