1. What has Martin Garrix announced?

A 10-city India tour with Sunburn Arena, beginning in Ahmedabad on March 10 and ending in Pune on March 22, 2027. Marketed around Holi, the tour takes his electronic dance music performances across northern, southern, eastern and western India over a packed 13-day period.

2. Who is he, beyond the name on the poster?

Garrix is a Dutch DJ and music producer whose catalogue includes “Animals”, “In the Name of Love”, “Scared to Be Lonely” and “High on Life”. Collaborations with singers including Bebe Rexha and Dua Lipa have helped his music travel between festival stages and mainstream pop playlists.

Ahmedabad on March 10, Bhubaneswar on March 12, Chennai on March 13, Bengaluru on March 14, Shillong on March 16 and Kolkata on March 17. The final stretch covers Hyderabad on March 19, Delhi NCR on March 20, Mumbai on March 21 and Pune on March 22.

6. How strong is his India connection?

Garrix has performed here for more than a decade. His Sunburn association includes a nine-show, eight-city tour in 2023 and a stadium-scale Holi performance at DY Patil Stadium. The 2027 itinerary expands that earlier eight-city circuit to ten destinations, including Bhubaneswar and Shillong.

7. Are two lakh people already attending?

That is the scale Garrix described when announcing the tour, rather than a confirmed attendance figure. Ticket sales have yet to begin. He said India had hosted some of his most memorable performances and described returning for ten cities as taking that relationship further.
