Seven-time world champion Lewis Hamilton has revealed his dream of exploring India and venturing into the Himalayas, with ambitions to eventually climb Mount Everest.
Reacting to a question in a recent video shared by Formula 1, Hamilton said, "Where I really want to go is... I wanna travel through India and then make my way up through the Himalayas. That's like my future dream for me, and then I'm gonna climb Mount Everest."
The Briton, who holds records for the most wins, pole positions, and podium finishes in Formula One, is gearing up for the new season after enduring a difficult 2025 campaign in his debut year with Scuderia Ferrari.
He failed to secure a single grand prix podium and finished 86 points behind team-mate Charles Leclerc in the championship standings.
Hamilton has been outscored by his team-mate in three of the past four seasons and has managed just two grand prix wins across the last four years.
Former British racing driver Martin Brundle believes the 39-year-old could bounce back under the new regulations.

The descent and despair of Imran Khan
Hamilton has already said that he's in a 'much better place' heading into this season, while also revealing how much he is enjoying driving the new SF-26.
"So I think if he comes into the season, and I have to say Ferrari have been quite innovative over the winter, and they look in a better place than we've seen them for a few years now. So I'm confident that Lewis will have a better year,” Brundle added.
Speculation around Ferrari’s prospects intensified during pre-season testing at the Bahrain International Circuit, where Hamilton’s lightning fast practice start fuelled suggestions that the team may have built their power unit to excel at race starts under the new regulations, while other teams have struggled to adapt.
There was further encouragement for Ferrari when Leclerc set the fastest time across the two weeks of testing on the final day at the Bahrain circuit.
"Lewis transcends Formula 1 like no other driver, in my view, has before or does now. It won't be easy for him, but I think I'm confident he's in for a better season,” Brundle added.
The 2026 campaign is set to begin with the Australian Grand Prix in Melbourne on March 8, following pre-season testing held in Bahrain from February 11 to 20.
