India’s 14-year-old batting sensation Vaibhav Suryavanshi delivered one of the greatest knocks in Under-19 World Cup history, turning the final against England into a breathtaking display of fearless cricket.

On the biggest stage of his young career, Suryavanshi unleashed a stunning 175 off just 80 balls, smashing 15 fours and 15 sixes at an astonishing strike rate of 218.75. His blistering century came in only 55 balls, making it the second-fastest hundred in U19 World Cup history.

A Final for the Ages

Suryavanshi’s knock is now the highest individual score in a U19 World Cup final, surpassing Unmukt Chand’s iconic 112* in 2012. With this innings, he became only the third Indian after Chand and Manjot Kalra to score a century in a U19 final, and the sixth player overall to achieve the feat.
