The Portuguese captain rose highest to meet a pinpoint corner from João Félix before glancing a superb header beyond Édouard Mendy.

With this win, Al Nassr remains in a strong position to secure the Saudi Pro League title, sitting at the top of the points table with 26 wins, a draw and three losses for a total of 79 points.

Their distant rivals are Al Hilal, who have 21 wins and eight draws to reach 71 points.

Ronaldo’s strike, his 25th league goal of the season, underlined his enduring influence in Saudi Arabia. With the title race entering its final stretch, the 41-year-old continues to deliver when it matters most.

Cristiano was named the Player of the Match for his performance, and his side will next face Al Qadsiah on May 3 in their 31st round match.

He has now scored nine times in his last nine appearances and remains locked in a fierce battle for the league’s Golden Boot.

Following the match, Cristiano took to social media to celebrate the win. Taking to X, he posted, "YALLA!! WE ARE AL NASSR!!"

The victory extended Al Nassr’s remarkable winning streak to 20 matches in all competitions, including 16 straight league wins. With only four games remaining, they now sit firmly in control of the championship race.

Recently, Al Nassr had secured a place in the final of the AFC Champions League Two, with Kingsley scoring a hat-trick to dismantle Al Ahli 5-1 in the semifinal.

On May 16, Al Nassr will fight for the AFC Champions League Two title against Gamba Osaka at Riyadh.

For Al Nassr, the finish line is now clearly in sight. And with Ronaldo leading from the front, few would bet against them completing the job.
