Audiences can always expect to be surprised by Aamir Khan’s reel incarnations. He has no qualms about going to any length to get his look right, even if it means his good looks go almost unrecognised as in the Tata Sky ad. Not being recognised is an actor’s nightmare, but then, Aamir is not any actor. He has even said that till he doesn’t see the character he’s playing on his face, he keeps at it till the mirror image is what he wants it to be, discomfiture be damned. His quest for perfection put the entire unit of his own production Delhi Belly to the test recently. Unhappy with the wigs selected for his comic cameo, Aamir went through 25 wigs to get the look just so. Needless to add, the sequence was shot only after the meticulous actor made up his mind about the wig that works.
