They Call Me Balls, Unfortunately

What’s in a name, you ask? Well, you should ask someone whose last name  sounds like ‘balls’.

What’s in a name, you ask? Well, you should ask someone whose last name  sounds like ‘balls’. Harry Baals, an ex-Indiana mayor who won four terms over the 1930s and 1950s, seems to be losing favour with present-day leaders because of that reason. They refuse to name a government centre in Fort Wayne after him because of his funny sounding last name. Some of the leaders feel that naming the centre after Baals would make Fort Wayne vulnerable to ridicule and cheap jokes. However, participants of an online poll felt that it was unfair to target the ex-mayor for his last name. As of now, Harry Baals seems to be leading the online opinion poll, with nearly thrice the votes received by his closest contender.
