If you are senior citizen in Delhi, expect a birthday card from Delhi Police. Amrita Kapoor, 92, a resident of the posh Maharani Bagh in South Delhi, says, “Our local police station maintains a list of senior citizens in the locality and wishes them on their birthdays.” Every month, a police official also goes around the colony to address problems faced by senior citizens. “For the past several years, DCPs have been giving cards to senior citizens in their localities,” says Rajan Bhagat, PRO, Delhi Police.
