Turning producer for the first time ever, former Beatles drummer Ringo Starr is readying Y Not, his most personal album till date. Produced under the Hip-O Records label, the album is due to release in January 2010. It has contributions from various artists. The first single, Walk With You, about friendship, has former Beatles mate Paul McCartney teaming up with Starr. On finally locating the perfect producer to work with, he said: “Well, I looked in the mirror. And I was looking real groovy that day.”
