Australia’s struggling economy has got a boost from—guess what—sheep. A record four million live sheep were ferried to Saudi Arabia and the UAE. One Australian trader reportedly called Saudi Arabia a ‘lifeline’ for the sheep industry Down Under. Others may prefer to call it shear desperation.
