Rocketing Film Debut for Alyque’s Daughter

Advertising maverick Alyque Padamsee’s daughter, Shazahn, makes her Bollywood debut

Advertising maverick Alyque Padamsee’s daughter, Shazahn, after dabbling in theatre and television commercials for some time, now makes her Bollywood debut in Shimit Amin’s Rocket Singh: Salesman of The Year starring chocolate boy Ranbir Kapoor. Although Shazahn plays a small role in the film, the debutante, having always harboured the dream of making her debut as an actress in a Yash Raj film, seems to be very pleased that things have worked out her way. And she’s got double  lucky too, considering the film has been written by Jaideep Sahni of Chak De! India fame and directed by Shimit, who’d directed it.
