Predicting Brittany Murphy’s Death

When Perez Hilton’s Hollywood gossip column came uncannily, uncomfortably true.

Perez Hilton is the most famous internet gossip columnist in Hollywood. His website boasts of being ‘Hollywood’s Most Hated Website’. But for someone who deals in rumours, he made a startling prediction which has come true. Early December, he appeared in a radio show and was asked if after Michael Jackson, he expected any other celebrity to die. His reply: “Brittany Murphy, maybe.”

Though Hilton is silent on making that prediction, it is not attributed to any supernatural agency. Rather, it has to do with Brittany’s reported drug abuse. On the day she died, he wrote in his blog: ‘Absolutely devastating. Especially because this comes as no surprise! We, and those who knew Brittany personally, saw this coming. That does not make this any less horrible.’

Hilton’s post ends with a warning: ‘Lindsay Lohan and Courtney Love take note: that could have been YOU!’
