Petty politics over a farmer’s suicide

The police maintain that everything happened ‘so fast’ that they could do nothing except rush Singh to the hospital. Singh committed suicide in protest against the Union Government’s land bill. Later, AAP leader Ashutosh, too, made an insensitive comment, saying his party’s workers were not trained to climb trees.

He was brimming with sarcasm when he added, “This was Kejriwal’s mistake. He should have got down from the stage. Next time, I will tell Kejriwal to get down and climb the tree and save people.”
