American Idol’s auditions are starting on 9 August, but celebrity judge Paula Abdul doesn’t seem to have made the cut this season. Murmurs have it that Paula is out of the show, especially after her manager told LA Times that her contract had not been renewed. Plus, there’s been a mad scramble by other celebs for the position. But if music moghul Simon Cowell is to be believed, Paula will be back, straight up. “She will be fine. She will be on the show. I don’t get a lot of say (on the show). I have just made it clear that I want Paula on the show,” he said.
