No Careless Whiskers for Thackeray

Bal Thackeray is 85 but still particular about being presentable in the company of women. At an age when most people would just want the agony to end, Thackeray, with nothing better to do, obsesses over the state of his beard and whiskers, just in case the ladies drop by. Smita Thackeray, his daughter-in-law, revealed on Khupte tithe Gupte, a Marathi chat show, that the man instructs his barber thus: “Trim my moustache properly. I get a lot of pretty visitors.”
