Mumbai Unmute is an unusual photo exhibition. It just has images of people holding placards. But since there is a message for Mumbai in it, it does have a meaning to it.

Mumbai Unmute is an unusual photo exhibition. It just has images of people holding placards. But since there is a message for Mumbai in it, it does have a meaning to it. The team of three IITians— Amardeep Singh, Vamsi K Peri and Deependra— and a friend, Farook Adam, went around various places in Mumbai such as Colaba, Marine Drive,  Lower Parel, IIT Bombay, and took the photographs of people. They did this on three Sundays. After they had the photographs ready, it took just two days to design, code and put up the website (mumbaiunmute.com) online. The photographs will be exhibited at Industrial Design Center (IDC) at IIT Bombay this month.
