A group of Muslims in Kadarabad village, about 125 km from Patna, have built a Shiva temple.
Never mind the controversy about building a contentious Ram temple at Ayodhya, a group of Muslims in Kadarabad village, about 125 km from Patna, have built a Shiva temple. Mohammad Fakhrul Islam, a village resident donated about 2,700 sq ft of land for the temple, and Mohammad Hashrat and Mohammad Wasi, along with other Muslims, began constructing the temple. A local police officer says the temple was constructed despite protests from some members within the community. Interestingly, three decades ago, Hindus had built a Muslim saint’s tomb in the village.
