Talk about riding pillion, how about 47 of them. The Bangalore-based Corps of Military Police recently created a Guinness record by putting the most number of men on a single moving motorcycle. At the Yelahanka Air Force station near Bangalore, 48 men got onto a 500 cc Royal Enfield motorcycle and rode for a kilometre. They broke a 1995 Brazilian Army Corps record held by 47 men who had mounted a 1200 cc Harley Davidson. Incidentally, the Corps of Military Police already hold another Guinness record of riding 215 metres with 151 men on 11 motorcycles. n ANIL BUDUR LULLA
