This is just the place for wine and women, but unfortunately no men are allowed inside. W3–Wine Women Wit, an exclusive wine club for women, has been launched in Mumbai.  Members get invites to private tastings, wine dinners, themed wine events and private wine partiers. They also get discounts on evaluation of their wine cellars by wine consultants. Membership is by invitation and comprises two categories–Sparkling and Rose. Rose members pay an initial Rs 50,000 for six months while Sparkling is half that amount. Speaking at the launch, Dharti Desai, one of W3’s founders, said, “About 60 per cent of all wine purchases in India are made by women.”
