Shah Rukh Khan’s wife, Gauri, made a rocking debut on the ramp dressed in a Karan Johar-designed molten gold outfit at the recently-concluded HDIL India Couture Week. And she was, in one word, haute! For once, SRK was stumped in public by none other than his media-shy wife, who stole the thunder from under his superstar nose. And he didn’t seem to mind. At least he had nothing sarcy (or SRKy, or even ‘saaqi’—he kept everyone nicely sober) to say at the event. It is well documented that SRK doesn’t take kindly to challenges to his star status, least of all from fellow travellers. Anyhow, Gauri’s glitter gait has had ladies in a mad scramble since to figure her diet and gym routines. Just what is she on?
