We’ve heard that it was designer and ex-flame Nandita Mahtani who first joined Ranbir in the Big Apple. The two dated briefly and she travelled with him to Australia for the first schedule of Bachna Ae Haseeno before he fell for Deepika Padukone on the same sets.  Despite his wild personal life, Ranbir keeps it professional in his work space. The young star stayed out of casting tussles in both his films when Katrina allegedly left Anurag Basu’s Khamoshi, and later, when she was dropped from Imtiaz Ali’s love story in favour of a rank newcomer. This boy is a smart one, sticking to his directors. Better to go by the head than the heart, right?
