A man living on the 20th floor in an apartment building gets up early each morning to go to work in a store.
A man living on the 20th floor in an apartment building gets up early each morning to go to work in a store. He always gets into the elevator on the 20th floor and rides down to the ground floor. When he comes home, he always rides the elevator from the ground floor up to the 8th floor. He then gets out of the elevator and walks the stairs up to his apartment on the 20th floor. Why doesn’t he take the elevator all the way up?
