The Jammu & Kashmir police scooped up the 17-year-old in Srinagar recently to question him about Kale Kharab, a Facebook group launched in support of the Kashmiri Nationalist Movement. The group, whose motto is ‘Resistance Against Oppression’, offers its 1,100 odd members local news, inspirational quotes and links to relevant articles and videos, as well as the opportunity to comment on posted material. The police say that Bhat, suspected of being one of the founders of the group, has not yet been arrested.
