Halle Berry’s certainly a non-conformist fashionista, as was evident when she defied all the rules of glamour at the recent premiere of her film, The Soloist, alongside Robert Downey Jr and Jamie Foxx. The Oscar-winner teamed her summer dress not with the Hollywood staple of Christian Louboutins or Jimmy Choos, but flip-flops. And boy, did this mother of one look haute. A London daily termed the look ‘beach chic’ and it looks like she scored big with Hollywood fashion watchers too. As she once memorably quipped: “Sexiness is a state of mind, a comfortable state of being. It’s about loving yourself in your most unlovable moments.” Right said, Halle.
