Women certainly made their presence felt in the Bihar elections. Armed women security personnel were seen carrying antique .303 guns during the third phase of polling in Golghar, near Patna in Bihar. Nearly 50 lakh women voters were also added to the polls this year, outnumbering men in some districts.
