The YMCA educational programmes are as old as our independence. These were started in 1947 with the aim to empower the individuals with knowledge and skills to lead a quality life. New Delhi YMCA is pioneer in India in providing Stenography courses since 1947 taking into consideration the market need. Later on many new programmes were introduced as per the industry demand. At present, New Delhi YMCA has more than 75 courses in various streams viz Office Management, Fashion and Interior Design, Beauty Therapy, Journalism, IT, Management in HR, Finance, Sales & Marketing, Foreign languages – Spanish, French, German, Chinese, Japanese, General and Professional English, Hotel Management, Nutrition, Dietician & Health Management, Supply Chain & Logistics Management, Travel Tourism and Airport Handling, Airhostess, Travel and Airport Management etc.

XICThe courses have been started with an aim to meet the individual needs and to make them independent & self-reliant. The curriculum of these courses has been designed in such a manner that it should meet the industry demand. Since most of the courses are skill based, New Delhi YMCA hones the skills of youth in such a manner that there is no gap in the learning and implementing of the same in the work field.

The students are being sent for internships in various industries where in they acquire the skills required for a profession. Moreover, students go for industrial visits as an integral part of their curriculum. The students are imparted with practical knowledge in the well-equipped state-of-the-art labs for each skill based course to nurture the talent of each individual. The New Delhi YMCA courses give opportunity to those who are unable to continue in main stream education due to financial or any other problem.
