THE JOURNEY AND EXPERIENCE
People often ask me as to when did I started practicing on my own or as to how many years of experience I have with myself. Some-times it gets counted from the time when I started my independent pro-fessional career establishing Niti Bodh back in 2015 or sometimes it gets counted from the day when I began my professional career under the su-pervision of my seniors back in 2013. However, if you have to take my words against my journey then I will mark my journey from the day I had my first experience about getting sidelined based on my place of origin which led me to come across the ‘Constitution of India’ which changed my life trajectory altogether. If you have to count my experience then I will ask you to count my such experiences as well which I have gained during my university day’s either attending the classes or wondering around the library reading the books kept there one after the other which introduced me to such diaspora which neither had I seen before nor had I heard it off.
The experience also came from the courses which I kept on pursuing one after the other increasing my understanding over the subject. My experience also comes from the time which I had spent while pursuing my internships which allowed me to learn the depth of the law and society and its intermingling which each other.
With every passing day you get to see something new and get to learn which has not been learnt by you be-fore that day and that’s how you grow in your life which eventually helps you in your journey. For example had I would not have gone to pursue my fellowship at Dantewada, Chhat-tisgarh back in my university days then I would not have understood the grassroot reality which were being faced by the locals of those area, the problem which comes be-cause of armed militants known as Naxalites and the hurdles which it brings for people who has no role to play in that war. Similarly, if I would not have opted to learn and participate in the summer certifi-cate course offered by Anil Agarwal Green College, Centre for Science and Environment then I would had never learnt the entire diaspora of issues related to climate, forest, en-vironment, wildlife and so on.
Today when I get to read case files which comes to me, those files not only introduce me to a new life but also helps me to understand how law is positioning him or her and what could have been the actual po-sitioning. It helps in understanding the dynamics of this world which ultimately makes you a day mature than of your previous day and that is all about the life. As long as you are learning, that will lead you to growth and as long as you are growing you are not only alive, but you are also successful in achieving the purpose of your life.
Life and its motto may be defined in several ways but in my opinion, the best way to define life and its motto is about finding yourself, your true self. It is possible that you may discover your true self from your work, it is also possible that you may come across your true self through your devotion which you have to-wards the almighty, or through the love and affections which you have towards your loved ones or through the empathy which you keep to-wards the animals and nature or may be through the combination of all of the above. Your missing piece which is you only can at one place or may be scattered all across and you have to collect all of them to make it one. But as long as you are in your journey and you are able to find your true self, you are doing great in your life and if you have to take my words nothing else shall matter to you over and above this journey of yours.
What I have learned in my life is everyone has its own journey to travel and one can only take inspira-tion from the other and not become the one from whom he or she was drawing his or her inspiration, as at the end of the day we all are differ-ent and are supposed to live our in-dividual lives. Unfortunately, cheat-ing and copying is not available to us in the real world which many of us has done in our school and univer-sity days ensuring that our faculties do not get to know that. In the real world you are being watched by the almighty and they want you to pass your papers on your own and not through copying.
For now, I am trying to live my life and do my work with utmost sincerity and diligence so that my journey remains intact and I keep on learning with every passing day of life making myself better, wiser and smarter from my already lived life till now.
