State Institute Of Hotel Management (SIHM)

In 2012, the State Institute of Hotel Management (SIHM) was set up by Tourism Corporation of Gujarat Ltd (TCGL), an autonomous institution under the aegis of Government of Gujarat to develop & train world-class human resource for hotel, catering and tourism sector. SIHM has achieved remarkable growth from its inception till date. SIHM is able to develop state-of-art infrastructure, and providing best student life experience at the campus and working towards positioning itself as a premier institute in the Hospitality & Tourism sector across Gujarat. It has the State-of-the-Art campus located at Siddhpur in the Northern part of Gujarat SIHM offers an undergraduate course -Bachelor of Hotel Management and Catering Technology (BHMCT)-4 Year Degree Course. It is Approved by All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE), GoG and Affiliated to Gujarat Technological University (GTU), GOG.

The placement cell of the institute has an impressive record of 100% placement since the first batch. SIHM provides internship and placements in various national and international hotel properties. like Marriott, ITC- Mumbai, Radisson Blu, The Leela Gandhinagar, The Leela – Palace Udaipur, Taj – Mumbai, Taj Yeshwantpur Bengaluru, Vivanta Hotels & Resorts by Taj, Crowne Plaza Ahmedabad, Hilton Garden Inn Lucknow, Grand Hyatt Goa, Fairmont Hotel Jaipur, etc. The candidates can apply to SIHM through online/Offline mode.
