Sri Sairam Engineering College, Chennai, established in the year 1995 by renowned educationist and philanthropist MJF. Ln. Leo Muthu is one of Tamilnadu’s most sought after engineering institutions. Sairam is an ISO 9001: 2015 Certified institution and all the NBA eligible disciplines of Engineering and Management have been accredited by the National Board of Accreditation. The institution has also been accredited by the NAAC in A+ with 3.37 CGPA for a period of 5 years.
That’s not all! Sri Sairam Engineering College has been ranked amongst the Top 200 Engineering Institutions of the country in the prestigious National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) ranking list released by the Ministry of Human Resources Development (MHRD), Government of India. In fact, Sairam Engineering College is one amongst a handful of colleges in the state of Tamil Nadu to feature in this coveted list consistently for the past five years. Several leading national magazines including The Week, Outlook, Careers 360 and India Today have ranked Sairam as one amongst the top institutions of the country.

The college offers scholarships to the needy and deserving students helping them realise their dreams of higher studies. Named after the visionary Founder Chairman of the institution, Shri. MJF Ln. Leo Muthu, the Leo Muthu Scholarship has offered scholarships to the tune of Rs.28.3 crores benefitting more than 15000 students during the last 5 years.
At present, Sri Sairam Engineering College boasts a strength of more than 5000 students and staff strength of 750. Till date more than 25000 students have successfully graduated through the campus and work for some of the world’s leading multi-national companies in over 100 countries across the globe.
