Hosted its fifth annual convocation ceremony for the graduating class of 2023 at its campus

The event was made even more special by the presence of Former President of India, Ram Nath Kovind, who served as the Chief Guest. The ceremony celebrated the accomplishments of the students, acknowledging their perseverance and dedication, and marked a significant milestone in their academic and professional journeys.
The ceremony commenced with Kovind Ji lighting the ceremonial lamp, followed by the unveiling of Swami Vivekananda’s statue and planting of a Banyan Tree. The event saw the conferral of degrees to 1448 students and Honorary Doctorates to six Distinguished Personalities.
According to Dr. Sachin Gupta, Chancellor of Sanskriti University, Kovind Ji emphasized the importance of perseverance in achieving goals. He urged students to work hard and remain steadfast even in the face of difficulties, stating, “Even if challenges arise, do not abandon your path. Continue moving forward on your chosen path, and one day, you will surely reach your destination.”
Kovind Ji highlighted that success is not determined by one’s background but by dedication and integrity. He shared his own journey, saying, “I never imagined I would become the President of India. If you work honestly and with commitment, you will eventually be rewarded.”
He also advised students to stay healthy and remain connected to their cultural roots despite modern advancements. Kovind Ji ‘s words resonated deeply with the audience, inspiring them to contribute positively to society and uphold their values.
Dr. Sachin Gupta, expressed his gratitude to Former President Shri Ram Nath Kovind Ji and praised his humble and simple nature. Addressing the students, he said, “What matters is not where we come from, but what we give back to society. Parents’ pride soars when they are recognized by their children’s accomplishments.”
The Convocation honored six eminent personalities with Honorary Doctorates: Musician and Sound Artist Satya Hinduja, Designer Krishna Mehta, Writer and Poet Rochelle Potkar, renowned Santoor Maestro Rahul Sharma, Spiritual Guru and Artist Udayraj Gadnis, and well known Sculptor Arun Yogiraj, known for his statues of NetaJi Subhash Chandra Bose and Young Lord Ram.
Dr. Gupta’s closing words encapsulated the essence of the ceremony: “Strive to make a difference in society, and success will follow.”
