He also reiterated his larger vision of making Punjab India's premier education destination, reducing the need for students to look abroad for quality education and opportunities.

Parent-Teacher Meetings have been institutionalised across nearly 19,000 government schools, strengthening engagement between families and educators, while continued investments in infrastructure and Schools of Eminence are helping create better learning environments.

One of the most encouraging outcomes of Punjab's education reforms has been the performance of girls. This year, a majority of the top-performing students in Classes 8, 10 and 12 were girls, highlighting the growing opportunities available to young women across the state.
